the guard he dropped

This is the first book of the DEADLOCK - NO ESCAPE. NO EXCUSES series.

They were never supposed to be partners.

Draven Volkov is predatory, ruthless, brooding and built like a weapon. A fighter with a past as dark as his eyes, and walls no one before has ever broken through.

Aalto Merrick is cocky, blond and impossible to resist. All playful smiles, colourful ink and explosive talent that hides his own scars.

They’re rivals forced into the same space.

Training side by side.

Fighting for dominance.

Pushing the limits of everything they swore they’d never cross.

The tension is unbearable. The attraction? Undeniable.

They promised themselves they’d never let their guard down, but in the heat of battle…everything changes.

They survived the shift from enemies to lovers, but the true test has only just begun. When a hidden threat from within strikes they must stand together.

Deadlock - there’s no escaping what they’ve already started

Because some fights aren’t about winning, they’re about surrender.
